About the Role

We’re looking for an Experienced Quality Manager to lead quality assurance and laboratory operations. This role is pivotal in ensuring product integrity, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced, technically demanding environment.

What You’ll Do

+ Lead quality and lab operations across multiple facilities, including polymer testing and analysis

+ Ensure finished goods meet specifications for mechanical, thermal, and chemical properties

+ Oversee testing protocols such as melt flow index, tensile strength, impact resistance, and color matching

+ Develop and maintain quality systems aligned with ISO and industry standards

+ Manage complaint resolution and corrective actions with a focus on root cause analysis

+ Provide technical support to production, sales, and customer service teams

+ Conduct training on lab procedures, equipment calibration, and quality documentation

+ Support internal audits and customer quality reviews

+ Collaborate with site-level managers to standardize best practices across locations

+ Monitor lab expenditures and ensure efficient use of testing materials and equipment

+ Promote a culture of quality, safety, and continuous improvement

What You Bring

+ Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Polymer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field

+ 5+ years of experience in a technical or lab-based environment, preferably in plastics or chemical manufacturing

+ 3+ years in a leadership or supervisory role

+ Strong communication, leadership, and analytical skills

+ Familiarity with ISO standards, SPC, and lab instrumentation (e.g., DSC, FTIR, universal testing machines)

+ Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic setting

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $52.00 - $65.00/hr.
