We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Site Superintendent to oversee daily operations at our construction sites. This role involves managing teams, interpreting construction drawings, and ensuring that projects are completed to the highest quality, on schedule, and within budget.
Responsibilities
+ Oversee daily site operations, ensuring timely execution of all construction activities.
+ Lead, mentor, and manage over 20 craft personnel and foremen.
+ Review and interpret architectural, structural, civil, rebar, and MEP drawings.
+ Identify conflicts across drawings and resolve discrepancies before they affect production.
+ Manage concrete formwork, rebar placement, finishing, curing, and cold/hot weather operations.
+ Conduct QA/QC inspections and maintain all project documentation.
+ Implement and enforce job site safety standards in accordance with OSHA guidelines.
+ Develop short-term and rolling look-ahead schedules (3–6 weeks).
+ Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and material deliveries.
+ Hold daily toolbox talks and weekly coordination meetings.
+ Represent the company professionally in client meetings and on job sites.
Essential Skills
+ 5+ years of experience in commercial concrete construction.
+ 5+ years in a superintendent or lead supervisory role managing foundations, podiums, and forms.
+ Mastery of blueprint reading and coordinating between multiple disciplines.
+ Experience with foundation, forming, and podium construction with a subcontractor.
+ Proficiency in managing Procore progress reports, 2-week look-aheads, and production rates.
+ OSHA 30 certification.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Ability to read detailed plans and perform layout tasks.
+ Experience with various forming systems.
+ Construction management and commercial construction experience.
+ Experience in masonry.
Work Environment
This role involves working on job sites throughout NJ, NY, PA, and DE. Work will be conducted either in a trailer or a truck on the job site. Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Kenilworth, New Jersey.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $57.00 - $76.00/hr.
