    We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager (CM) to oversee site-level project management for Data Center projects. The CM ensures projects are executed safely, on schedule, and within budget, serving as the key point of contact for Cable and RDS Builds and Network projects. This role involves significant collaboration with cross-functional partners, on-site contractors, connectivity installers, and other stakeholders to plan and execute new Data Center capacities while maintaining high standards for quality and cost/schedule predictiveness.

    Responsibilities

    + Manage day-to-day activities with General Contractors and Telecom Partners.

    + Drive solutions to preserve business unit goals and KPIs.

    + Act as the point of contact for external partners, including GC, Trade Partners, and Suppliers.

    + Provide input into constructability and aid in project schedule creation and maintenance.

    + Escalate key issues for coordination with Campus Construction Management and Facilities Operations.

    + Collaborate closely with tenured DEC Delivery team members for onboarding and guidance.

    + Navigate the complexities of large-scale data center builds with significant capital expenditure.

    Essential Skills

    + Strong project management, problem-solving, partnership, leadership, and behavioral skills.

    + Experience in commercial construction within oil, gas, or chemical sectors.

    + 15+ years of experience as a construction manager with large project experience exceeding $500M.

    + Proficiency in managing general contractors and trade partners on large projects.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience with network infrastructure and/or telecom systems.

    + Professional-Level Degree in Engineering or related discipline.

    + Familiarity with Autodesk Construction Cloud or similar software.

    Work Environment

    The position is based on-site, requiring field experience in managing large-scale construction projects. The work environment is collaborative and involves regular interaction with various stakeholders and teams. The role will demand occasional travel to oversee different project sites, ensuring adherence to project timelines and quality standards.

    This is a Contract position based out of Gallatin, Tennessee.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $85.00 - $95.00/hr.
