Job Title: Embedded Engineer
Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Embedded Engineer to develop embedded firmware using C and C++ for aerospace applications. In this role, you will design schematics and parts lists using Altium Designer and engineer electronic systems, including microcontrollers, power supplies, and sensor signal circuitry for aerospace products. You will apply circuit theory to design and troubleshoot complex electronic systems and design and implement microcontroller-based solutions for instrumentation and control. Additionally, you will integrate and test sensor interfaces and analog/digital signal processing circuits.
Responsibilities
+ Develop embedded firmware using C and C++ for aerospace applications.
+ Design schematics and parts lists using Altium Designer.
+ Engineer electronic systems including microcontrollers, power supplies, and sensor signal circuitry for aerospace products.
+ Apply circuit theory to design and troubleshoot complex electronic systems.
+ Design and implement microcontroller-based solutions for instrumentation and control.
+ Integrate and test sensor interfaces and analog/digital signal processing circuits.
Essential Skills
+ Proficiency in Embedded C and C++.
+ Experience with embedded microcontrollers.
+ Ability to read electrical/electronic schematics.
+ Experience with Altium or a similar design package.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering or 5+ years of experience in Embedded Firmware and microcontrollers.
+ Experience with FPGA.
+ Experience in the automotive, military, aerospace, or Department of Defense industry.
Work Environment
This role is primarily onsite with the flexibility to work remotely one day a week.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Holland, Ohio.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $45.00/hr.
