             Job Title: Engineering Manager Job Description As an Engineering Manager, you will provide technical expertise to support and guide engineering teams in developing automated machinery. You will use agile and iterative methods to plan and execute projects, adapting to changing needs and challenges. Collaborating with executive leadership, production, and sales/marketing, you will define project goals and procedures, leading the creation of lean, efficient engineering processes that maintain quality and speed. You will evaluate technology, resources, and market demand to assess project feasibility and promote a culture of innovation and continuous improvement through experimentation and learning. Responsibilities + Keep up with emerging automation technologies (e.g., AI, machine vision, robotics) and evaluate their potential use. + Ensure projects are delivered on time by tracking progress and meeting deadlines. + Oversee daily operations of engineering projects. + Promote consistent design and development practices across the engineering team. + Review and approve product designs and updates. + Support skill development and process improvement within the engineering team. + Manage hiring, training, and performance evaluations for engineering staff. + Ensure proper documentation of all engineering activities. + Develop and enforce standards, procedures, and best practices for technical work. + Handle administrative tasks such as reporting, budgeting, and policy enforcement. + Assess purchasing options for materials and services. + Work directly with clients to understand project needs and negotiate solutions. + Perform other duties as needed to support company goals. Essential Skills & Qualifications + Experience in engineering management + Experience leading individual contributors + Document control + GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) + Bachelor's degree in Engineering + Experience with medical devices + Knowledge of purchasing processes + Strong customer relations skills + Automation and program management experience Work Environment This is an onsite role located in your own office space or on the production/manufacturing floor. You will have the opportunity to join a quickly expanding medical device group and lead a team of highly technical engineers and production personnel. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $120000.00 - $140000.00/yr. HEALTH/DENTAL/VISION, PTO, HOLIDAY, BONUS Workplace Type This is a fully onsite position in Boca Raton,FL.
