Industrial Engineer
Duties:
• Analyze production workflows and identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction
• Design and implement lean manufacturing initiatives, including 5S, Kaizen, and value stream mapping
• Develop time studies, work measurement systems, and labor standards to improve productivity
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Production, Quality, Maintenance, Supply Chain) to resolve bottlenecks and improve throughput
• Evaluate and optimize plant layout, material flow, and workstation ergonomics
• Support new product introductions by designing efficient manufacturing processes and tooling requirements
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and generate reports to guide decision-making
• Lead root cause analysis and corrective action efforts for production inefficiencies
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations in all engineering activities
• Train and mentor production staff on process improvements and best practices
• Manage engineering support for serial production lines, ensuring consistent quality and output
• Oversee process control and optimization for finished goods assembly, packaging, and delivery readiness
Qualifications
• Proficiency in CAD software, simulation tools, and data analysis platforms (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Minitab)
• Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and project management skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Experience in metal fabrication and/or assembly lines
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $45.00/hr.
