    We are seeking an emerging Civil Land Development Engineer who is eager to position themselves for a future leadership role. This opportunity is ideal for candidates with a passion for residential and commercial land development design.

    Responsibilities

    + Participate in residential and commercial land development design projects.

    + Utilize Stormwater Management (SWM), Storm Drain, Grading, and Erosion & Sediment Control (ESC) Design.

    + Apply proficiency in AutoCAD, with preference for experience in Civil 3D.

    + Contribute to site development and civil design tasks.

    Essential Skills

    + Up to 3 years of experience in land development design.

    + Proficiency in AutoCAD; experience with Civil 3D is preferred.

    + Strong foundation in Stormwater Management and site grading.

    + Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with E.I.T. or PE preferred.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience in private land development is preferred.

    + Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

    + Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

    + Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

    Work Environment

    Work in a casual and flexible environment with options for remote work. The small office setting fosters easy communication and collaboration, with plans for growth from 12 to 20 team members over the next 12-18 months. This role provides an opportunity to be part of an expanding company with established capabilities in civil engineering and land surveying.

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Raleigh, North Carolina.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $45.00/hr.
