    Job Description

    We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer Senior II to design and develop digital, analog, and RF circuits for cutting-edge Anti-Submarine Warfare (ASW) technology. The role involves performing electrical trade-offs for system design, including risk assessments and design reviews, to ensure compliance with technical specifications and regulatory requirements within project timelines. You will be responsible for testing and debugging prototype circuit boards and systems to validate designs, producing technical documentation, and collaborating within a multidisciplinary engineering team to integrate electrical hardware systems with overall ASW receiver architecture. This position also requires providing technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, fostering their professional growth and development. Some travel may be required.

    Responsibilities

    + Design and develop digital, analog, and RF circuits for ASW technology.

    + Perform electrical trade-offs for system design, including risk assessments and design reviews.

    + Ensure compliance with technical specifications and regulatory requirements.

    + Test and debug prototype circuit boards and systems to validate designs.

    + Produce technical documentation and presentations for design reviews.

    + Collaborate within a multidisciplinary engineering team to integrate electrical hardware systems.

    + Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.

    Essential Skills

    + Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology with significant hardware design experience.

    + 5+ years of engineering design experience.

    + Strong written and verbal communication skills.

    + Knowledge of analog circuit design, digital circuit design, power electronics, RF, and signal processing.

    + Experience with CAD software (e.g., Altium Designer, Cadence) for schematic capture.

    + Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

    + Ability to work independently and in a team.

    + Experience directing circuit board layout with a PCB designer.

    + Ability to obtain a US Government security clearance.

     

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

     

    + Master of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering.

    + Experience with simulation and analysis tools (e.g., SPICE, PSpice, LTspice, Simulink, LabVIEW).

    + Experience with RF components and RF design.

    + Experience working in a multidisciplinary team environment.

    + Experience analyzing and debugging complex systems using test equipment (oscilloscope, spectrum analyzers).

    + Programming skills in MATLAB and C languages.

    + Experience with industry communication protocols.

    Work Environment

    You will work within a multidisciplinary engineering team, utilizing technologies such as CAD software for schematic capture, simulation, and analysis tools. The role may require some travel and offers a dynamic environment that supports professional growth and development. Dress code and facility conditions may vary based on project requirements.

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Permanent position based out of Victor, NY.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $130000.00 - $150000.00/yr.
