We are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer with extensive experience in project leadership and project management within an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) environment. This role will be responsible for managing a high volume of complex projects, including new model launches, ensuring timely delivery, cost efficiency, and compliance with quality standards. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem solver with strong technical knowledge and exceptional organizational skills.
Key Responsibilities
+ Lead and manage multiple large-scale projects from concept through production, ensuring alignment with OEM standards and customer requirements.
+ Coordinate cross-functional teams including design, manufacturing, quality, and supply chain to achieve project milestones and deliverables.
+ Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets; monitor progress and implement corrective actions as needed.
+ Drive new model introduction projects, overseeing design validation, tooling, and production readiness.
+ Serve as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders and external customers, providing regular updates and status reports.
+ Identify and mitigate risks throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
+ Optimize processes and workflows to improve efficiency and reduce lead times for OEM projects.
+ Prepare technical documentation, including engineering specifications, BOMs, and change management records.
+ Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to strategic planning for future OEM programs.
Qualifications
+ Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, or related field).
+ 5+ years of experience in project engineering or project management within an OEM manufacturing environment.
+ Proven track record of leading complex, multi-disciplinary projects with tight deadlines.
+ Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, product development, and OEM standards.
+ Proficiency in project management tools (MS Project, ERP systems) and CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks preferred).
+ Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $74000.00 - $100000.00/yr.
