Job Title: UI/UX Design Systems Engineer
Job Description
We are seeking a specialized UI/UX Designer to support our design operations. This role involves maintaining and growing our design systems, ensuring they remain robust and efficient. The ideal candidate will be a strong UI Designer proficient in Figma, capable of managing components and building blocks necessary for product development. You will work across multiple products to maintain component libraries and patterns at the platform level. Your expertise in design systems development will be crucial, and you must be professional and detail-oriented.
Responsibilities
+ Support and grow design systems, ensuring they are well-maintained and efficient.
+ Work as a strong UI Designer in Figma, managing components and building blocks for product development.
+ Maintain component libraries and patterns across multiple products at the platform level.
+ Collaborate with developers, keeping them up to date and ensuring cohesive design systems.
+ Communicate effectively with software developers using technologies like React Native and MAUI/Xamarin.
+ Execute tasks with reliability and attention to detail, ensuring trust and professionalism.
+ Start design systems at the foundational level, focusing on color and typography to create a cohesive design.
Essential Skills
+ 5+ years of UI/UX experience
+ Proficiency in Figma software
+ Expertise in design systems
+ Strong UI design capabilities
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience with medical device design
+ Component management expertise
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $50.00/hr.
