As a Manufacturing Technician on the 3rd shift, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Fill/Finish Department by filling, capping, labeling, and assembling both sub-assemblies and finished goods. This position offers an excellent opportunity for those looking to gain experience in a science-related field, particularly within kit production and large-scale manufacturing.
Responsibilities
+ Fill, cap, and label vials, bottles, and tubes individually or as part of a team, ensuring products meet or exceed quality specifications.
+ Communicate effectively with work groups to ensure the completion of daily production tasks.
+ Operate in both standard and clean room environments while adhering to specific PPE requirements.
+ Safely operate both manual and automated filling equipment.
+ Complete company training requirements on time and operate within all ISO and FDA standards.
+ Handle temperature-sensitive materials following established guidelines and protocols.
+ Perform cleaning of production areas and equipment.
+ Recognize deviations from accepted practices and maintain attention to detail and accuracy.
Essential Skills
+ Associate or bachelor degree.
+ 0-2 years of related experience.
+ Ability to consistently follow policies and procedures and meet schedules.
+ Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
+ Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ High school diploma or equivalent.
+ Experience in a manufacturing cleanroom or warehouse environment.
+ Preferred: Associate’s degree in biology, chemistry, engineering, or related field.
+ Experience in GMP, ISO, or FDA-regulated environments.
+ Experience operating automated equipment.
+ Knowledge of biology or chemistry.
Work Environment
This role is based in a laboratory or cleanroom environment, requiring adherence to PPE standards. The work is fast-paced with changing priorities, demanding strong communication skills and the ability to adhere to policies and meet production timelines.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of FREDERICK, MD.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.05 - $22.05/hr.
