Job Title: Architectural Consultant
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Architectural Consultant to join our team in supporting a large low-income housing project in East New York. The successful candidate will work under an Associate to guide the project from Schematic Design (SD) through Construction Administration (CA), producing drawing sets in Revit.
Responsibilities
+ Support the large low-income housing project in East New York through Schematic Design to Construction Administration.
+ Produce comprehensive drawing sets using Revit.
+ Collaborate with an Associate and project team to ensure project milestones and quality standards are met.
+ Engage with clients to understand project requirements and deliver solutions that meet their needs.
+ Apply knowledge of codes and zoning to ensure compliance and project integrity.
Essential Skills
+ Bachelor's degree in Architecture.
+ Minimum of 5 years of experience in architecture, particularly in new construction and ground-up high-rise buildings including mixed-use, multi-family, commercial, and hospitality.
+ Proficient in Revit.
+ Experience in Design Development and Construction Administration.
+ Familiarity with NYC building standards and practices.
Work Environment
The position is in-office work five days a week from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM with very little overtime.
The dress code is business casual.
The work environment is dynamic with exposure to a variety of prominent projects across NYC, offering significant learning and career development opportunities.
Each project is led by a Partner/Associate Partner, Project Manager, and several intermediate architects, ensuring a collaborative and supportive team environment.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $50.00/hr.
