Description

Structural Engineer with 5 to 9 years of experience in the design of building structures. Licensed structural PEs or engineers-in-training nearing licensure will be considered for this position. Tasks include executing structural design calculations, development of plans and details, coordination with clients/project design teams, and construction administration. Project engineers will work with the firm’s partners on unique and complex projects with tremendous opportunity to gain expertise and broaden experience. Depending on the candidate’s experience, this position will evolve to include independently managing and designing projects and acting as the engineer of record for those projects. Experience in the design of mid-rise structures of steel, post-tensioned concrete and mass timber preferred. Candidates will also assist with the development and implementation of the firm’s engineering, modeling and drawing standards. In this position, the individual will be required to work closely with a team of Structural Engineers and/or Project Managers. A willingness to work in a team environment, following the standards we have in place is a must. A "can-do", client-focused attitude is crucial. Responsibilities, We are currently looking for Engineers in a variety of our office locations. You would be responsible for: • Performing structural computations in the design and analysis of concrete, steel or other miscellaneous structures • Creating analysis models and interpreting results for 2D and 3D structural frames • Assisting with construction administrative tasks, including site visits and shop drawing review • Understanding load paths for gravity and lateral loads and calculating applicable loads based on appropriate building codes • Assisting with design drawings, quantities, cost estimates, specifications, reports and other project deliverables while working with the structures team • Preparing technical studies and reports

Qualifications • Master's in Civil Engineering with emphasis in Structural Engineering • 4-8 years of experience • P.E. license in your resident state required • Experience with Revit, Rhino or Grasshopper is a plus • Excellent written and verbal communication • Strong organizational skills

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $125000.00/yr.
