Job Title: Mechanical DrafterJob Description

Create design drawings using design layouts, models, and other information for use in manufacturing. Support CAD Designers by developing working drawings for basic shelters and mechanical and electrical modifications, including rack installations, ECU installations, entry panel installations, lighting, power distribution, and other ancillary items. Meet CAD schedules and budgets effectively.

Responsibilities

+ Create design drawings from design layouts and models for manufacturing.

+ Develop working drawings for basic shelters and mechanical and electrical modifications.

+ Support rack installations, ECU installations, entry panel installations, lighting, and power distribution.

+ Ensure adherence to CAD schedules and budgets.

Essential Skills

+ Proficiency in drafting and GD&T.

+ Experience with Inventor or Solidworks 2D.

+ 2+ years of post-schooling experience in Drafting.

+ Experience with large assemblies consisting of hundreds of parts.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ 2 years of technical training or equivalent experience.

+ Proficiency in 2D CAD.

+ Strong fact-finding and analysis skills.

+ Experience with NX or Inventor is preferred.

Work Environment

Work in a manufacturing facility with a casual dress code, including jeans. The role involves working in a cubicle but allows frequent visits to the manufacturing floor to see designs come to life. Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Dallastown, Pennsylvania.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr.
