Quality Engineer

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Engineer to join our team. This role supports new model development, manufacturing quality initiatives, and continuous improvement activities. The ideal candidate will collaborate across departments to ensure quality standards are met and sustained throughout the product lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Collaborate with the Department QPL to develop and execute quality plans, including SAP-related processes (OQ Flow, HAB, MMC Q).
+ Coordinate quality activities for new model launches, including weekend and shutdown support, and track project progress.
+ Analyze gaps to quality targets and support countermeasure development and implementation.
+ Participate in MQS negotiations through drawing reviews, RSS stack-up analysis, and countermeasure investigations.
+ Conduct drawing reviews and work with Product Design to prevent manufacturing issues.
+ Support MMC in developing and executing Quality Manufacturing Plans for onsite trial builds, including Himotsuki verification activities.
+ Lead onsite build events, ensuring alignment of schedules, parts, personnel, and cross-group coordination.
+ Contribute to reflections on previous models, explore new technologies, and identify opportunities for innovation and process improvement.
+ Develop and maintain Power BI and Polyworks reports for white body analysis and quality insights.
+ Assist in manufacturing data collection and analysis, verify equipment repeatability, and confirm layout installations for new models.
+ Maintain effective communication with other facilities to ensure alignment and knowledge sharing.
+ Pursue ongoing professional development and share technical expertise with the team.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
