Job Title: Design Engineer
Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Design Engineer with over 10 years of experience to join our team. In this role, you will serve as our technical expert for sustaining products as well as new product development and custom electro-mechanical designs. You will collaborate directly with customers and cross-functionally with our internal sales, manufacturing, and operations teams to drive innovation and technical solutions. Responsibilities
+ Serve as the technical expert for sustaining existing products and developing new products.
+ Lead technical discussions with customers regarding new and existing applications.
+ Collaborate with internal teams (sales, manufacturing, operations) to deliver solutions that meet customer requirements.
+ Design and develop custom electro-mechanical solutions that integrate automation and mechanical systems.
+ Support product development from concept through to production.
Essential Skills
+ Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) or a related discipline.
+ Proficient with SolidWorks 3D modeling software and SolidWorks PDM.
+ In-depth knowledge of electro-mechanical actuators, linear motion products, or high precision automation products.
+ Strong understanding of linear guides, crossed roller bearings, ball screws, leadscrews, stepper and servo motors, encoders, and related technologies.
+ Basic electrical engineering knowledge includes wiring sensors, connecting power supplies, and designing systems.
+ Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and customers.
+ Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Familiarity with DoD projects, military specifications, environmental specifications, and test specifications is beneficial.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $120000.00/yr.
