    Civil Engineer – Land Development | New Haven, CT

    What You’ll Do

    + Design and engineer stormwater, septic, grading, and drainage systems.

    + Develop detailed site plans and technical documentation.

    + Perform hydraulic calculations and contribute to sustainable infrastructure planning.

    + Engineer roads, sanitary and storm sewers, and stormwater management systems.

    + Create layouts for residential neighborhoods, commercial hubs, and municipal facilities.

    What You Bring

    + Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.

    + 2–5 years of experience in land development.

    + Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and HydroCAD.

    + EIT certification preferred.

    + Experience with multi-million dollar projects and a diverse portfolio.

    Bonus Skills

    + Familiarity with NYC DOB systems (DOB NOW, BIS, eFiling).

    + Knowledge of NYC Local Laws 84, 87, and/or 97.

    + Field inspection experience (ASME boiler tests, EPA Method 9, cooling tower assessments).

    + Office based in New Haven, CT, with occasional site visits.

    + Standard hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (1-hour lunch).

    Compensation & Benefits

    + Hourly Rate: $25.00 – $40.00/hr

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $50.00/hr.
