Position Summary
The Marketing Operations Specialist is responsible for supporting marketing and communications project management, the medical, legal and regulatory review process for marketing and medical content, and other marketing operations initiatives. This role will work with cross-departmental stakeholders who are subject matter experts to ensure adherence to established healthcare regulatory requirements.
The ideal candidate will be exceptional at problem-solving, communication, project management and be detail oriented.
Job Responsibilities
+ Support the medical, legal and regulatory process for the organization (user provisioning, established reporting, day-to-day operations) in collaboration with marketing, regulatory, legal and medical affairs.
+ Maintain the references library within Veeva Promomats to ensure accuracy and auditable records.
+ Scrub sensitive medical health information from reports to support the commercial team.
+ Facilitate, and consolidate periodic marketing communications to the commercial team .
+ Manage the transfer of approved materials to regulatory software (DotCompliance).
+ Ensure compliant adherence to SOP for material and medical content review.
+ Manage the daily operations of project management platforms (Jira, Salesforce, Veeva).
+ Manage user access and print distribution pathways while ensuring versioning across the company’s content distribution (website, Promomats, company store, CRM, etc.).
+ Assist Marketing Operations in identifying operational improvements within the above processes.
+ Facilitate agenda creation, slide consolidation and monthly marketing meetings.
Required Qualifications:
+ Bachelor’s degree in marketing, life sciences or a related field.
+ 0-2 years of experience in marketing operations or project management.
+ Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
+ Microsoft Office programs (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Etc.).
Preferred Qualifications
+ Hands-on experience with Veeva or similar product life-cycle management software.
+ Experience managing vendor relations.
+ Experience with project management tools.
+ Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and self-motivation within a team environment.
+ Desire to learn and understand a variety of different software tools.
Physical Demands
+ The ability to lift objects over 20 pounds.
+ The ability to sit and/or stand for long periods of time.
Training
+ All job-specific, safety, and compliance training will be assigned based on the job functions associated with this employee.
Other
+ This position could require some travel and evenings, weekends and/or holidays (medical conventions are typically held over weekends, which this person may be required to attend).
