Job Title: Manufacturing Quality SpecialistJob Description

We are seeking a Quality Assurance Associate to support a major pharmaceutical client. The QA Associate will be responsible for real-time batch record review on the manufacturing shop floor, ensuring compliance and accuracy in documentation.

Responsibilities

+ Execute real-time review of batch documentation and other manufacturing documentation, analyzing for errors, corrections, and compliance.

+ Perform housekeeping and GMP walkthroughs of the facility.

+ Initiate and participate in triage for on-the-floor events.

+ Work in cross-functional teams to meet and exceed timelines.

+ Execute or review room and line clearances.

+ Make quality decisions in real-time according to regulations ICH Q7 and 21CFR211, as well as internal procedures.

Essential Skills

+ Experience in batch record review.

+ Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) experience in a manufacturing facility.

+ Quality assurance experience in the pharmaceutical industry for at least 6 months.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Exposure to different complex manufacturing processes such as vaccines and monoclonal antibodies (mAbs).

+ Experience in starting new teams critical to site performance.

+ Opportunities for advancement into higher-level roles.

Work Environment

This role operates on the 2nd shift from 3 PM to 11:30 PM. Occasional overtime may be needed based on business needs, with weekend work opportunities highly encouraged. The job requires presence on the pharma manufacturing floor and office space with a desk, but it is not an office-based role. Expectation is to be on the shop floor 90-100% of the shift. Dress code is business casual with closed-toed shoes, and adherence to aseptic gowning procedures is required.

This is a Contract position based out of Sanford, North Carolina.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $45.00/hr.
