    Electrical Project Manager – Hyperscale Data Center

     

    We’re looking for a seasoned Electrical Project Manager to lead the electrical scope of a high-impact hyperscale data center project. This role demands deep technical expertise in high-voltage systems and mission-critical infrastructure, along with proven leadership in coordinating with general contractors and technology clients.

     

    What You’ll Do

     

    Project Leadership

     

    + Drive electrical construction from pre-construction through commissioning.

    + Build and manage detailed schedules, budgets, and manpower plans.

    + Collaborate with design teams, subcontractors, vendors, and client stakeholders.

     

    Technical Oversight

     

    + Review electrical drawings, specs, and submittals for accuracy and compliance.

    + Ensure installations meet hyperscale standards for redundancy, scalability, and uptime.

    + Oversee procurement of major electrical equipment (e.g., switchgear, transformers, UPS, generators).

     

    Team Management

     

    + Lead field teams, foremen, and subcontractors with a focus on safety and quality.

    + Conduct site walks, progress meetings, and foster a culture of accountability.

     

    Client & Stakeholder Engagement

     

    + Act as the primary contact for all electrical scope matters.

    + Deliver clear updates, reports, and resolve issues proactively.

     

    Compliance & Safety

     

    + Ensure adherence to NEC, local codes, and client-specific standards.

    + Enforce safety protocols and participate in audits and inspections.

     

    What You Bring

     

    Education & Experience

     

    + Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (preferred).

    + 7+ years of electrical project management experience, including 3+ years on data center or mission-critical projects.

    + Demonstrated success managing hyperscale or large-scale electrical infrastructure.

     

    Skills & Certifications

     

    + Strong knowledge of MV/LV distribution, grounding, lighting, fire alarm, and BMS integration.

    + Proficiency in tools like Procore, MS Project, and Bluebeam.

    + OSHA 30 certification (preferred); PMP or similar certification is a plus.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $120000.00 - $200000.00/yr.
