+ Execute and develop network change procedures safely and efficiently.

+ Create tools and solutions to empower frontline support teams.

+ Mentor junior engineers and contribute to architectural design discussions.

+ Participate in on-call rotations and provide break-fix support.

+ Lead root cause analysis and post-event reviews.

+ Build dashboards and telemetry systems to monitor network health.

+ Develop scripts to automate routine tasks and support tooling.

+ Act as a subject matter expert on network automation and monitoring projects.

+ Work with vendors and QA teams to resolve bugs and qualify new firmware or OS versions.

    Requirements

    Required Qualifications

+ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field (Master’s preferred).

+ 5+ years of experience in Network Engineering, preferably in ISP or cloud environments.

+ Strong experience in network operations roles.

+ Deep understanding of networking protocols: MPLS, BGP, OSPF, IS-IS, TCP/IP, IPv4/IPv6, DNS, DHCP.

+ Familiarity with VxLAN and EVPN is a plus.

+ Proficiency in scripting or compiled languages (Python preferred).

+ Experience with network monitoring, telemetry, and modeling tools (e.g., YANG, OpenConfig, NETCONF).

+ Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.

+ Excellent communication and organizational skills.

    Preferred Skills

+ Experience with large-scale data center design and operations.

+ Familiarity with CLOS network architectures and backbone infrastructure.

+ Ability to influence product roadmaps and technical direction.
