Job Title: Assembly Technician
Job Description
The Assembly Technician will read and interpret blueprints and work orders to build custom machinery for the printing industry. They will take components, sub-assemblies, and electrical components to assemble and test printing machinery. Much of the work is done at a workbench, but some larger equipment will require forklift and overhead cranes to maneuver.
Shift and Pay
First Shift: Monday-Friday, 7 am - 3:30 pm
$20-$25/hr based on experience
Responsibilities
+ Read and interpret blueprints and work orders.
+ Assemble and test custom machinery for the printing industry.
+ Use components, sub-assemblies, and electrical components in assembly processes.
+ Operate forklifts and overhead cranes to maneuver larger equipment.
Essential Skills
+ Proficiency in reading blueprints and work orders.
+ Experience with hand and power tools.
+ Minimum of 2 years in mechanical assembly.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Electrical/electronics skills are a plus.
+ Experience in assembling equipment and projects rather than assembly line work.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $37440.00 - $52000.00/yr.
