Job Title: Machine Operator
Job Description
A manufacturer in the Eastern Indianapolis region is searching for multiple machine operators to work on 2nd and 3rd shifts. This role involves operating various industrial machines, ensuring quality standards, and maintaining documentation.
Responsibilities
+ Operate up to four industrial machines simultaneously.
+ Use basic hand and power tools to change tooling.
+ Utilize quality instruments to ensure parts meet specifications.
+ Perform repetitive manual lifting and pushing of materials throughout the department.
+ Ensure proper documentation of materials and batch numbers according to guidelines.
+ Withstand heat and remain on feet for 8 to 12 hours at a time.
Essential Skills
+ Experience in machine operating for at least 1 year.
+ Proficiency with hand and power tools.
+ Mechanical aptitude and ability to read blueprints.
+ Familiarity with calipers, press operating, laser operation, and mechanical assembly.
+ Troubleshooting skills and experience with CNC machinery.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Ability to withstand heat.
+ Stable work history with 1+ year per job.
Available Shift & Pay
+ 2nd shift from 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM, with potential for overtime extending shifts by 2 to 4 hours // **$21, with a $1 shift premium**
+ 3rd shift from 10:30 PM to 7:00 AM, with potential for overtime extending shifts by 2 to 4 hours // **$21, with a $2 shift premium**
+ TRAINING
+ The first 15 weeks you will train on 1st shift 6:30am to 3:00pm

Work Environment
This position is located in a 1 million square foot facility that is clean but can be hot depending on the department. You will start with training on the 1st shift for approximately 15 weeks, Monday through Friday, from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM. Post-training, you will transition to either the 2nd shift (2:30 PM to 11:00 PM) with a $1/hr shift premium, or the 3rd shift (10:30 PM to 7:00 AM) with a $2/hr shift premium. Be prepared for potential overtime, including extended hours at the end of shifts and occasional Saturdays with advance notice.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $43680.00 - $49920.00/yr.
