Job Title: 2pm Put Away

Job Description

This role involves the handling and distribution of merchandise within a warehouse setting. You will be responsible for processing customer and stock orders, organizing and relocating merchandise, and preparing products for distribution.

Responsibilities

+ Generate manifests for dispatch and confirm customer and/or stock orders.

+ Interpret various warehouse documents to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.

+ Open cartons, sort merchandise, and relocate merchandise from receiving or production areas to designated areas.

+ Verify merchandise documentation and record incoming merchandise by part and quantity.

+ Organize and place merchandise on racks, shelves, totes, or bins according to a pre-determined sequence.

+ Prepare products for distribution within facilities.

+ Assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on palettes, shelves, or conveyors for delivery to packing stations or the shipping department.

+ Receive, store, and distribute material, tools, equipment, and products under direct supervision following established guidelines.

+ Arrange stock parts in a specified sequence for assembly by other workers.

+ Create and enter records for the manifest on the warehouse computer system.

Essential Skills

+ Ability to read, write, and speak fluent English.

+ Basic knowledge of warehouse operations, material handling, picking, packing, and shipping.

+ Experience using RF scanners.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ 0-6 months of warehouse experience preferred.

+ No certification required, but certification on CROWN trucks will be provided upon permanent hire.

Work Environment

This is a fast-paced warehouse environment with narrow aisles where forklifts and hand carts navigate safely. The warehouse is a non-climate-controlled environment, and the use of cellphones or electronics is not permitted. Closed-toe shoes are required for safety.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Flower Mound, Texas.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $18.50/hr.
