Job Title: Production Operator
Job Description
A machine operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining machinery used in the manufacturing process. Machine operators will work both individually and as part of a team, delivering consistent work and reporting accurate information on time. To be successful in this position, the individual must produce timely and high-quality output within the company's quality and production standards. A commitment to continuous improvement is essential.
Responsibilities
+ Prepare machinery for operation by performing routine maintenance tasks and conducting safety checks to ensure equipment is in good working condition.
+ Set up and operate production machines in accordance with established procedures and guidelines.
+ Monitor machines during operation to ensure they produce products that meet quality standards.
+ Conduct regular in-process inspections to ensure quality control standards are met.
+ Troubleshoot equipment and make necessary adjustments to resolve issues during the production process.
+ Record data such as production numbers, machine settings, and product quality data.
+ Follow safety protocols and adhere to the proper use of PPE to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
+ Consistently meet production requirements.
+ Maintain a safe and clean work area by continuously working in a safe manner.
+ Follow company rules and participate in cross-training and other training requirements.
Essential Skills
+ Experience in machine operation and production.
+ Ability to use a computer to enter activities in an ERP system.
+ Mechanically inclined.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience with production machinery maintenance and safety checks.
+ Capability to perform troubleshooting and adjustments during the production process.

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Huntington Beach, California.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
