Job Title: Mechanical Maintenance Technician

Job Description

We are seeking skilled Mechanical Maintenance Technicians to support various areas of our plant, including the cold mill, hot mill, cast house, element 13, or roll shop. The successful candidates will work in a heavy industrial environment, performing maintenance on large, precise equipment. This role requires a strong background in mechanical maintenance within an industrial setting.

Responsibilities

+ Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on equipment.

+ Install new equipment and ensure proper functionality.

+ Work with rolling mills, conveyors, CNC machines, casting equipment, and furnaces.

+ Apply attention to detail and precision in maintaining equipment with tight tolerances.

+ Troubleshoot hydraulics and pneumatics to component level and create on-site repair plans.

Essential Skills

+ Experience in mechanical maintenance within an industrial setting.

+ Strong troubleshooting skills with hydraulics and pneumatics.

+ Familiarity with preventative maintenance and repair techniques.

+ Ability to work with industrial equipment such as conveyors and CNC machines.

+ 5-10 years of experience in an industrial setting.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience with extrusion and aluminum casting.

+ Fabrication skills.

+ A 2-year degree is preferred but not required.

Work Environment

Work in a heavy industrial environment where no part of the plant is climate controlled, experiencing extreme temperatures in summer and winter. The facility is tobacco-free, with no jewelry permitted on-site. Shifts are 12 hours, with day and night rotations available. Our campus spans hundreds of acres, providing a vast and dynamic work setting.

This is a Permanent position based out of Muscle Shoals, Alabama.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $58240.00 - $79040.00/yr.
