Job Title: Forklift Driver
Job Description
Join a well-established manufacturer in Waukegan, IL area as a Forklift Driver. This role is integral to our receiving department and warehouse department, primarily involving the sit-down forklift. **The shift hours are 6:00am-2:30pm Monday - Friday and starting pay is $20.00 per hour.**
Responsibilities
+ Operate a sit-down and clamp forklift to move materials to and from machines and designated locations.
+ Load and unload trucks using a sit-down or clamp forklift and pallet jack.
+ Use an RF scanner and tablet to manage inventory and shipments.
+ Document any damaged goods received and report to the appropriate department.
+ Ensure all delivery paperwork is accurately completed and submitted to the correct department.
Essential Skills
+ Minimum of 3 years of experience with sit-down forklift operations.
+ Proficiency in using an RF scanner.
+ Ability to comprehend and follow instructions, both verbal and written.
+ Self-motivated and able to work independently without close supervision.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Good job history and a dependable attendance record.
+ Ability to manage job-related stress effectively.
+ No high school diploma required.

Work Environment
Employees are required to wear steel toe boots and ear plugs while on the manufacturing floor. Corrective lenses must be worn if required by the driver’s license.

The pay range for this position is $40000.00 - $45000.00/yr.
