    Description

    We are looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team on a contract basis in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring accurate financial transactions, managing billing operations, and maintaining strong relationships with clients. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with expertise in accounts receivable processes and a solid understanding of insurance billing and verification.

    Responsibilities:

    + Answering phones

    + Reviewing and billing of third party claims

    + Working denials of claims

    + Working Rejections of claims

    + Verifying Insurance

    + Adding / Updating Insurances

    + Creating / Updating Patient Payment Schedules

    + Reconciliation projects

     

    Requirements • Proven experience in accounts receivable operations, including cash applications and billing.

     

    • Strong knowledge of billing functions and commercial collections.

    • Familiarity with medical insurance billing and verification processes.

    • Proficiency in handling cash activity and related financial transactions.

    • Excellent attention to detail and ability to reconcile accounts accurately.

    • Solid communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.

    • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

    • Proficiency in relevant accounting software and tools.
