    Job Title: Day Shift Warehouse Associate

    Job Description

    Join our team as a Day Shift Warehouse Associate, where you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our warehouse. This position requires working Monday through Friday from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, with mandatory overtime of up to 2 hours daily and occasional Saturdays.

    Responsibilities

    + Utilize RF scanners for picking, pulling, and stocking items.

    + Operate a manual pallet jack and handle lifting tasks of up to 50-75lbs.

    + Perform stocking and inventory management duties within the warehouse.

    + Maintain an organized and clean work environment.

    + Ensure accuracy in order fulfillment and inventory updates.

    + Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while performing duties.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency with RF scanners and RF scanning technology.

    + Ability to lift and move items weighing between 50-75lbs.

    + Basic math skills, including addition and subtraction.

    + Capability to stand and walk for extended periods.

    + High school diploma or GED.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Familiarity with warehouse functions, especially stocking and RF scanner operations, is preferred but not required.

    + Experience with automotive parts is advantageous but not necessary.

    + Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.

    Work Environment

     

    Work in an outdoor warehouse setting with exposure to varying weather conditions, dirt, and dust. The noise level is typically above average, necessitating adherence to safety measures. Dress code is casual, suitable for a physically demanding role.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Newark, California.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $19.50 - $19.50/hr.
