    Title: 3D Machine Learning Engineer

     

    Compensation: Up to $190,000 DOE + benefits

     

    We’re seeking a 3D Machine Learning Engineer to join our innovative R& D team developing cutting-edge vision systems and AI-driven 3D modeling solutions. This hybrid role in El Segundo offers the opportunity to work on challenging projects at the intersection of computer vision, deep learning, and image processing.

    Responsibilities

    + Design, train, and optimize deep learning models using TensorFlow and Python for 2D and 3D visual data.

    + Develop algorithms for 3D reconstruction, object recognition, and scene understanding.

    + Implement and evaluate models for image segmentation, depth estimation, and motion tracking.

    + Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams of engineers and researchers to deploy models into production environments.

    + Contribute to data preprocessing, augmentation, and model performance evaluation.

    Requirements

    Qualifications

    + Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related STEM field.

    + 2+ years of professional experience in machine learning or computer vision.

    + Strong programming skills in Python and experience with TensorFlow (PyTorch a plus).

    + Hands-on experience with 2D/3D image processing, feature extraction, and geometric modeling.

    + Familiarity with 3D data formats (e.g., point clouds, meshes, depth maps) and visualization tools.

    + Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment.
