Electromechanical Technician
Job Description
As an Electromechanical Technician, you will report to the Distribution Manager and Warehouse Lead, performing installation, troubleshooting, configuration, and repair of various products at the Operations Center. You will assist with order assembly, report damages or functional failures to the Technical Support Team, and repair issues to established standards prior to shipment when feasible. You will also support all distribution operations, including receiving, loading shipments, parts fulfillment, and related administrative tasks.
Responsibilities
+ Perform repairs on electronic, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems in accordance with service standards and training.
+ Document completed repairs via work orders, evaluation forms, service reports, or preventive maintenance (PM) records, including detailed descriptions of failures and resolutions.
+ Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance on beds, stretchers, obstetric tables (OBTs), and accessories per service contracts and work orders.
+ Execute authorized hardware and software updates or modifications following approved procedures.
+ Demonstrate thorough knowledge of product functionality and benefits to optimize customer applications for patients and caregivers.
+ Participate in continuous training to remain current on products and technologies.
+ Contribute to developing and delivering service procedures for new products.
+ Follow all safety protocols during maintenance, repairs, installations, and other product-related tasks.
+ Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times, including safety shoes, eye protection, gloves, and protective clothing.
+ Receive, inspect, and stock warehouse inventory.
+ Prepare inventory for shipment, including assembly, staging, and packaging.
+ Perform periodic inventories and maintain a clean, organized warehouse.
+ Complete all administrative processes promptly and accurately.
Essential Skills
+ Proficiency in hydraulics, including troubleshooting and repair of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
+ Experience in general labor, quality assurance, electrical work, and mechanical assembly.
+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints for mechanical assembly and installation.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Computer proficiency.
+ Warehouse experience.
+ Forklift operation certification or experience.

Work Environment
This position is in a non-climate-controlled warehouse. Essential physical requirements include:
+ Regular talking and hearing.
+ Frequent sitting and standing.
+ Occasional walking, use of hands for handling or feeling, and reaching with arms.
+ Occasional lifting and moving of up to 75 pounds.
+ Specific vision abilities: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $58240.00 - $72800.00/yr.
