Job Title: Production Associate
Job Description
We are seeking dedicated individuals for direct placement positions as Production Associates. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling radiators and radiator coils for copper piping systems. You will work from blueprints and use various hand and measuring tools to cut, measure, and assemble products. Your duties will include applying screws with a drill for metal brackets and reading a tape measure daily to meet assembly specifications.
Responsibilities
+ Utilize work orders and blueprints to ensure assemblies meet specifications.
+ Complete tasks within estimated time frames.
+ Collaborate with the team to ensure timely production of products.
+ Communicate any machine complications or challenges to the lead or supervisor.
+ Participate in 5S, cleaning, and organizing methods.
+ Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including safety and quality standards.
Essential Skills
+ 6 months of mechanical assembly experience.
+ Ability to read blueprints.
+ Proficiency in using a tape measure.
+ Capability to assemble products using various hand tools.
+ Ability to stand for 8-10 hours a day.
+ Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
+ High School Degree, GED, or Certificate.
+ Basic computer skills.
+ Knowledge of PPE, including steel toes, ear, and eye protection.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Ability to convert fractions to decimals and vice versa.
+ Experience in metal fabrication or metal joining.
+ Experience with progressive stamping.
+ Skilled in performing quality inspections.
+ OSHA certification.

Work Environment
Our manufacturing environment is clean, equipped with up-to-date technology, and temperature-controlled. Employees are allowed to listen to music to a certain degree, and our safety manager will cover this during orientation. Please note that personal phone use is restricted on the production floor.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $45780.00 - $47860.00/yr.
Competitive Pay: Pay range $22.01-27.50/hr.
