    Job Title: Hydromat Operator

    Job Description

    As a Hydromat Operator, you will monitor machine operations to determine whether adjustments are necessary and stop the machine when problems occur. You will be responsible for setting up and operating Hydromat production equipment, performing machine adjustments as needed, and conducting basic maintenance such as cleaning and lubricating machine parts.

    Responsibilities

    + Monitor and adjust machine operations to ensure optimal performance.

    + Set up and operate Hydromat production equipment.

    + Handle metal workpieces, placing them in boxes or on racks, and set aside defective pieces.

    + Perform basic maintenance, including cleaning and lubricating machine parts.

    + Remove and replace worn or broken machine parts using hand tools.

    + Compute numbers, widths, and angles of cutting tools, micrometers, scales, and gauges, and adjust tools to produce specified cuts.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency in Hydromat and CNC operations.

    + Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

    + Experience in quality inspection and production processes.

    + 3+ years of experience in machine setup and operation.

    + High School Diploma or GED.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience with machine operation and blueprint reading.

    + Ability to perform quality inspections.

    Work Environment

     

    Work on the 1st shift from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM in a clean and organized facility. Training involves travel with hotels and per diem for meals covered. Upon completion, work full-time on-site in Hudson, OH with no further travel. The company manufactures fasteners for the automotive industry and is expanding its operations.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hudson, Ohio.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $26.00/hr.
