    Job Title: Warehouse Associate

    Job Description

    This role focuses on warehouse operations, with opportunities for cross-training in assembly and machine shop tasks. Flexibility and knowledge in multiple areas are essential, as duties vary based on daily priorities. While primarily warehouse-based, the position involves hands-on mechanical assembly and work with CNC machines. Training is available for those with a good understanding of warehouse and production functions.

    Responsibilities

    + Stock parts and manage inventory.

    + Pick and pull parts for orders across various departments.

    + Receive parts, including unboxing, counting, and labeling.

    + Process and ship orders via UPS, FedEx, truck lines, and delivery services.

    + Perform miscellaneous warehouse duties such as cleaning and trash disposal.

    + Participate in assembly and production tasks.

    + Operate CNC machines in the machine shop.

    Essential Skills

    + 2+ years of experience in a warehouse or manufacturing facility.

    + Experience with picking, packing, shipping, and receiving.

    + Proficiency with UPS and FedEx shipping processes.

    + Strong inventory management skills.

    + Mechanical aptitude.

    + Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

    + Detail-oriented with strong accuracy in counting inventory and verifying part numbers.

    + Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

    + Basic computer skills.

    + Excellent attendance record.

    + Willingness to work overtime as needed.

    + Ability to package boxes and prepare LTL skid shipments.

    + Operate a pallet jack.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Positive and energetic attitude.

    + Basic math skills.

    + Experience with material handling and sit-down forklift operation.

    Work Environment

     

    Work in a clean and organized manufacturing facility with a smaller warehouse department. The standard shift is 8:00 am - 4:30 pm, Monday to Friday, with flexibility to start at 7:00 am if needed.

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lenexa, Kansas.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $23.00/hr.
