    Description We are looking for an organized and detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team on a contract basis in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. This role is ideal for someone who excels in managing financial transactions and maintaining accurate records. You will play a key part in supporting the accounting department with day-to-day operations, ensuring efficiency and accuracy.

    Responsibilities:

    • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions in a timely and accurate manner.

    • Utilize QuickBooks to record, analyze, and reconcile financial data.

    • Enter financial information into accounting systems with precision and attention to detail.

    • Manage invoice processing, ensuring proper documentation and compliance.

    • Assist in preparing reports and summaries related to financial operations.

    • Handle discrepancies and resolve issues related to payments and invoices.

    • Maintain organized and up-to-date records of financial activities.

    • Collaborate with team members to support overall accounting functions.

    • Ensure adherence to company policies and accounting standards. Requirements • Proven experience with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.

    • Proficiency in QuickBooks and other accounting software.

    • Strong data entry skills with a focus on accuracy and detail.

    • Familiarity with invoice processing and financial documentation.

    • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively.

    • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.

    • Strong communication skills to work collaboratively within a team.

    • Knowledge of accounting principles and best practices.
