    About the State Park Inns:

    The Indiana State Park Inns are one of the oldest state parks lodging systems in the country. We proudly operate seven unique and beautiful facilities throughout our great state of Indiana that offer a unique experience for guests to enjoy the sights and sounds of nature and make memories naturally!

     

    Overlooking the Ohio River near historic downtown Madison, Indiana, Clifty Inn is located within the beautiful Clifty Falls State Park. The Inn features 71 guest rooms, the Falls Restaurant, an indoor pool, and banquet/conference space.

    Role Overview:

    + Outside work in mowing grass, weed eating, and power washing.

    + Working weekends, being on call, and lifting.

    Salary Statement:

    The salary for this position traditionally starts at $12.64/hr but may be commensurate with education or work experience.

     

    A Day in the Life:

    The essential functions of this role are as follows:

    + At the Indiana State Park Inns, success is based around teamwork, quality, integrity, loyalty, passion, friendliness, and safety. Indiana State Park Inns workers provide friendly customer service while ensuring the general upkeep of the Inns to provide guests with a high-quality experience.

    + Maintenance Services – These positions handle any maintenance items around the Inn, cabins, kitchen, and pool areas including repairs, preventive maintenance, and remodeling projects.

    + Positions may include: Gardeners, Maintenance Techs

    What You'll Need for Success:

    + This role should expect to work afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

    + Ability to hold effective communication with coworkers and guests and assist them as needed.

    + Able to perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.

    Supervisory Responsibilities/Direct Reports:

    This role may be utilized in a supervisory capacity based on agency needs.

    Benefits of Employment with the State of Indiana:

    This seasonal position does not offer benefits and is limited to 180 working days in an eleven (11) month continuous period.
