Role Overview: The Project Manager, Regional Development will serve as a project manager focused on the Regional Economic Acceleration & Development Initiative programs and projects, assisting the team to meet strategic goals. Additionally, will assist on other development initiatives and programs at the IEDC. The project manager is responsible for managing READI strategic initiatives, communications, and events. Salary Statement: The salary range for this position is $63,787 - $68,000 annually. A Day in the Life: Project Management: + Execute and refine policies and procedures of the Regional Economic Acceleration & Development Initiative (READI) to meet organizational strategic goals and work as a collaborative partner with internal and external stakeholders to identify, strategize, communicate, and implement programming. + Identify and develop relationships with service providers and regional stakeholders to develop and implement project plans to define project scope, requirements, and deliverables. + Manage contracted service providers associated with the READI programming. + Build and leverage stakeholder relationships to promote and support program. + Provide network with guidance on responsibilities and proactively manage projects, procedures, processes, and system communication. + Provide support in managing program budgets, invoices and grant management tools. + Conduct project reviews to monitor and report on program success metrics. + Identify best practices and improve programs and internal systems with an eye toward future strategic needs. + Assist with real estate development priorities and projects at the IEDC. + Support Business Development on potential site visits related to managed development projects. + Foster a positive feedback culture and utilize feedback to offer guidance and support to team members. + Assist READI team with planning and management of events, capacity building training sessions, and other convenings. + Manage internal software platforms and provide support to Director of Development Operations. Communications and Marketing: + Support program initiatives with marketing collateral including, copy, press releases, one-pagers, web pages, email outreach, and resource guides. + Manage and oversee all public communication including website of programmatic offerings. + Serves as liaison for interdepartmental and other state agencies relationships and communication for IEDC development initiatives. What You'll Need for Success: Education: + Bachelor’s Degree in business, public policy, urban planning or another related field, familiarity with grants management in a public or private setting, certification as a Project Management Professional or similar designation. Experience: + Minimum: 3-5 years of experience in project management, real estate funding and grant management. + Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office suite. Knowledge of: + Real estate funding with a variety of funding allocations. + Program Management - principles, methods, and tools for the coordinated management of a program with oversight of multiple projects, and related activities. + Schedule Management - Knowledge of the strategies, techniques, and processes used to plan, develop, and control project schedule and track project deliverables. + Stakeholder Management - Knowledge of the concepts, practices, and techniques used to identify and engage individuals and groups connected to a work effort. + Marketing and communications best practices.
