    Job Title: Cook I

    Job Description

    Join our team as a Cook I, where you will work onsite at a large manufacturing plant. You will collaborate with the kitchen staff to prepare a variety of meals including daily breakfast, a breakfast bar with fruit and yogurt, a lunch entrée, made-to-order grill items, a salad bar, hot soups, and Simply To Go items such as grab-and-go sandwiches, wraps, salads, parfaits, and entrées. You will also assist in stocking coolers, fridges, and the food line, as well as receiving and putting away food orders.

    Responsibilities

    + Prepare daily meals including breakfast, lunch, and grab-and-go items.

    + Assist with stocking coolers, fridges, and food lines.

    + Receive and organize food orders.

    + Perform general housekeeping tasks such as wiping, disinfecting, doing dishes, sweeping, mopping, and taking out trash and recycling.

    + Clean and sanitize the food line.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience in food service and as a line cook.

    + Proficiency in food preparation and maintaining HACCP logs.

    + Basic understanding of general housekeeping tasks.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + ServSafe certification preferred.

    + Willingness to be trained in additional areas.

    Work Environment

    This position requires availability Monday through Friday between 5:00 am and 2:30 pm and on Saturdays between 5:00 am and 11:00 am. While actual hours may vary, a 40-hour work week is available. The role is based in a large manufacturing plant, requiring adherence to safety and hygiene standards.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of GREEN BAY, WI.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
