Job Title: 3rd Shift Production Operator

Job Description

As a machine operator, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining machinery used in the manufacturing process. You will work both individually and as part of a team to deliver consistent, high-quality work. Your role requires producing timely and quality output in line with company standards, preparing machinery for operation, and conducting safety checks.

Responsibilities

+ Prepare machinery for operation by performing routine maintenance tasks and conducting safety checks.

+ Set up and operate production machines following established procedures and guidelines.

+ Monitor machines during operation to ensure product quality standards are met.

+ Conduct regular in-process inspections to ensure adherence to quality control standards.

+ Troubleshoot equipment and make necessary adjustments during production.

+ Record data such as production numbers, machine settings, and product quality.

+ Follow safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE) appropriately.

+ Meet production requirements consistently.

+ Maintain a safe and clean work area, adhering to company rules.

+ Engage in cross-training and other training requirements.

Essential Skills

+ Experience in production and machine operating.

+ Ability to use a computer for entering activities in an ERP system.

+ Mechanical aptitude and inspection skills.

+ Ability to read and interpret gauges and measurements.

+ Effective verbal and written communication skills.

+ Strong time management capabilities.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Must not have an allergy to carbon fibers.

+ Ability to speak and read English effectively.

+ Ability to read and interpret safety rules, MSDS, operating and maintenance instructions, and manuals.

+ Ability to stand for an 8–10-hour shift.

+ Prior experience preferred, but not required.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Huntington Beach, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00/hr.
