             General Production Worker Shift 6:00a - 2:30, access to OT after first week of training Location La Grange, IL Pay $15, OT is $22.50 Job Description Join our team as a General Production Worker where you will be trained in electronic assembly of switches for diverse industries such as military, government, agriculture, and healthcare. Your role involves working with small parts, requiring excellent hand-eye dexterity, and utilizing hand tools to build component parts. You'll gather materials, place components onto PC boards, and work at your own station, sometimes sitting or standing throughout the day, always paying close attention to detail. Additionally, you will receive training on ultrasound lines, focusing on mechanical assembly work at a conveyor belt, following work orders to assemble ultrasound parts. Responsibilities + Perform electronic assembly of switches for various industries. + Handle small parts with precision and dexterity. + Utilize hand tools to build different component parts. + Gather necessary materials for assembly tasks. + Place components onto PC boards accurately. + Work at an individual station, standing or sitting as required. + Receive training and work on ultrasound line mechanical assembly at a conveyor belt. + Follow work orders to complete assembly of ultrasound parts. Essential Skills + Experience with electronic assembly and handling small parts. + Proficiency in using small precision hand tools. + Attention to detail and ability to stand or sit for extended periods. + Ability to work independently at a workstation. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Soldering certification is a plus but not required. + Experience with pick and place equipment is beneficial and may adjust pay rate. Why Work Here? Temperature checks and medical questions are conducted upon arrival and towards the end of the shift. Our culture is relaxed, yet focused on achieving results, expecting employees to know their duties and perform them effectively. Candidates can anticipate 3-4 hours of overtime daily, totaling 50-60 hours a week. The facility operates in three shifts: 1st shift from 6 am to 2:30 pm, 2nd shift from 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm, and 3rd shift from 10 pm to 6:30 am. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mc Cook, Illinois. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $17.00/hr.
