             Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. This role involves working with electrical, welding, or industrial maintenance tasks. The ideal candidate should possess experience in wastewater operation or technician work, and have a basic understanding of motors and electrical components. We are looking for someone eager to grow with our company and learn quickly, as they will be trained on the comprehensive maintenance of our bottling plant. Responsibilities + Perform maintenance and repair tasks on machinery and equipment. + Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues. + Operate and maintain wastewater systems. + Work with blueprints and schematics. + Conduct preventive maintenance. + Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth operation of conveyor systems and packaging equipment. Essential Skills + 2 years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting. + Experience with wastewater operation or as a technician. + Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics. + Experience with conveyor systems. + Familiarity with motors and electrical wiring. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics. + Experience with blow motors and packaging equipment. + Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills. Work Environment This position is based in a bottling plant in Cheverly, which is a loud and sometimes dirty environment. Safety is a priority, requiring all team members to wear hair and beard guards along with steel toe boots at all times. The role offers a choice between 1st shift (Monday - Friday) and 3rd shift (Tuesday - Saturday), with initial training on 1st or 2nd shift for the first month. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cheverly, Maryland. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $35.40 - $35.40/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
