Job Title: Quality Inspector
Job Description
As a Quality Inspector, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive product and quality process inspections. Your role will involve documenting inspection results by completing reports and logs, as well as entering data into the quality database. You will perform daily audits, verify tools for proper torque and calibration, and ensure adherence to Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) procedures. Additionally, you will carry out computer-based quality control tasks, including accessing and completing checklists in Excel and retrieving documentation from internal databases.
Responsibilities
+ Conduct various product and quality process inspections.
+ Document inspection results by completing reports and logs.
+ Input data into the quality database accurately.
+ Perform daily audits of assigned areas, verifying tools for proper torque and calibrations.
+ Ensure proper Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) procedures are followed.
+ Navigate work order systems to verify part information and enter inspection results using online forms.
+ Use a company camera to capture footage of servers for incoming, in-process, and final inspections.
Essential Skills
+ At least 6 months of related experience.
+ Strong attention to detail.
+ Ability to stand for prolonged periods.
+ Ability to work on ladders.
+ Manual dexterity.
+ Effective teamwork and communication skills.
+ Ability to follow verbal and written directions.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience in assembly and final inspection checks.
+ Familiarity with electronics, schematics, and blueprints.
+ Experience in quality control and quality inspection.

Work Environment
The work environment includes standing for long periods and requires the use of ear protection due to noise levels. Training is provided through a one-week program followed by on-the-job training for 2-3 weeks. The role involves both computer and manual tasks, with a focus on using company cameras for inspections.

This is a Contract position based out of Fremont, California.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $22.50/hr.
