Description We are looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable Accountant to join our team in Ann Arbor, Michigan. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in managing accounts receivable activities, including collections, billing, and cash applications. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to the financial operations of a dynamic organization within the health and biotech industry.

Responsibilities:

• Manage accounts receivable processes, ensuring accurate and timely invoicing and payment collection.

• Oversee commercial collections to maintain healthy cash flow and minimize overdue accounts.

• Process cash applications efficiently, ensuring proper allocation of payments.

• Monitor and execute cash collection activities to meet organizational financial targets.

• Collaborate with internal teams to address billing inquiries and resolve discrepancies.

• Ensure compliance with Automated Clearing House (ACH) procedures and standards.

• Generate detailed reports on accounts receivable performance and provide insights to management.

• Implement best practices for streamlining AR operations and enhancing efficiency.

• Maintain accurate records and documentation of all accounts receivable transactions. Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts receivable or related finance roles.

• Proficiency in commercial collections and cash application processes.

• Strong understanding of billing functions and financial reconciliation.

• Familiarity with Automated Clearing House (ACH) procedures.

• Demonstrated ability to manage high volumes of transactions accurately and efficiently.

• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills for resolving billing issues.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
