Description

We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee financial operations and ensure compliance with industry standards. This role requires strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of accounting principles to manage reporting, audits, and reconciliations effectively. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of driving accuracy and efficiency in financial processes.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the month-end close process to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.

• Oversee general ledger activities and maintain the integrity of financial data.

• Coordinate and support financial statement audits, ensuring compliance with regulations.

• Perform detailed account reconciliations to identify and resolve discrepancies.

• Review and approve journal entries to maintain accurate accounting records.

• Ensure adherence to US GAAP standards in all financial processes.

• Provide guidance and training to team members to enhance their skills and performance.

• Analyze financial data to identify trends and support strategic decision-making.

• Collaborate with other departments to streamline financial operations and reporting.

Requirements • Minimum of 10 years of experience in accounting or financial management.

• Strong expertise in month-end close processes and general ledger management.

• Comprehensive knowledge of financial statement audits and account reconciliation.

• Proficiency in preparing and reviewing journal entries.

• Familiarity with GASB and US GAAP standards.

• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to lead and mentor a team effectively.

• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
