    Work Schedule: Evenings with Weekend and Holiday Rotation

     

    Hours: Primary 2pm-10pm. May need 12pm-8pm

    Summary:

    Primary responsibilities are to act as the liaison between the Laboratory Department and any customer having a relationship with the Catholic Health Department of Laboratory Services and providing high quality customer service.

    Responsibilities:

    EDUCATION

    + High School diploma or GED

    + Associates degree preferred

    EXPERIENCE

    + Two (2) years in laboratory setting preferred or customer service field preferred

    KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY

    + Possess excellent communication skills - written, oral, and interpersonal

    + Clear understanding of medical terminology

    + Working knowledge of LIS/HIS and PC-based such as MS Word and Excel preferred

    + Customer service skills as demonstrated in current or previous job experience, documented training/in-services

    + Ability to handle multiple complex issues under pressure without demonstrating any sign of frustration or disorganization

    + Have the initiative and ability to demonstrate ultimate concern for the customers, anticipating their needs and going beyond their expected levels of service

    + Demonstrated telephone etiquette techniques
