Job Title: Painter - Foreman
Job Description
Join our team as a Painter - Foreman, where you will perform painting functions for industrial and commercial clients. Specializing in both new construction and existing buildings, most projects involve interior walls, with some exterior painting. All projects are located within a 40-mile radius of Milwaukee. You will use brushes, rollers, and spray guns to apply various paint coatings to industrial and commercial facilities.
Responsibilities
+ Perform painting functions for industrial and commercial clients using brushes, rollers, and spray guns.
+ Apply various paint coatings to industrial and commercial facilities, focusing primarily on interior walls.
+ Utilize HPLV Airless Sprayers on large industrial projects.
+ Prepare surfaces accurately, including cleaning, sanding, and priming.
+ Ensure smooth, even finishes with keen attention to detail.
+ Read and interpret blueprints or specifications effectively.
+ Manage time efficiently to meet project deadlines.
+ Work safely by following safety procedures and using protective gear properly.
+ Solve problems and adapt to unexpected challenges on the job.
+ Communicate effectively with clients and other contractors.
Essential Skills
+ Expert knowledge of different painting techniques and materials.
+ Proficiency in using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment.
+ Strong understanding of safety procedures and proper use of protective gear.
+ Experience in reading and interpreting blueprints or specifications.
+ Effective time management to meet project deadlines.
+ Physical stamina and dexterity for working on ladders, scaffolding, or in tight spaces.
+ Good communication skills to coordinate with clients and other contractors.
+ Ability to solve problems and adapt to unexpected challenges on the job.
+ 3+ years of painting experience.
+ 1+ year of commercial painting experience.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience with prep work and clean up for job sites.
+ Experience with multi-family buildings is a plus.
+ Experience with office painting is advantageous.

Work Environment
Contractors will report to job sites and work in a team environment that varies in size depending on the project. The dress code is jeans, t-shirts, or painter whites. Core hours are from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, but may vary based on job requirements. You will be held to deadlines to ensure timely project completion.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $26.00/hr.
