    Job Title: Quality Inspector

    Job Description

    The Quality Inspector will perform receipt and evaluation inspections of complex components and assemblies using pre-set inspection plans. The Inspector will conduct inspections of aircraft parts and certify them under FAA/EASA/TCCA Part 21 specifications before shipping them to customers using SAP software.

    Responsibilities

    + Perform material inspections.

    + Ensure record traceability by maintaining required documentation.

    + Inspect aircraft parts and certify them according to specified regulations.

    + Utilize SAP software for certification processes.

    Essential Skills

    + 3 years of maintenance experience and knowledge of aircraft operations, systems, and practices OR manufacturing experience under FAA FAR Part 21, EASA Part 21G TCCA Part 21, or as an aviation distributor.

    + Familiarity with aerospace quality control and quality assurance systems.

    + Valid Driver's license.

    + Knowledge of AS9100 / AS9110 / AS9120 standards.

    + Experience with First Article Inspection.

    + Ability to use tooling to make airworthiness determinations, such as calipers, micrometers, and depth gauges.

    + Proficiency in computer skills, particularly SAP software.

    + Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Computer literacy.

    + Ability to read engineering drawings.

    + Experience with aircraft maintenance.

    Work Environment

     

    Located minutes from the Washington Dulles International Airport and approximately 30 miles from the U.S. Capitol, our facility serves as a major parts distribution hub in the Americas. This 24/7 fulfillment center features an Aircraft on Ground (AOG) support desk and Quality Assurance operations. The 20,000-square-foot warehouse is equipped with new technology to increase productivity. There are four openings on the first shift: Monday-Friday (6AM-3PM or 7AM-4PM).

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sterling, Virginia.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $28.00/hr.
