Residential Maintenance experience
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Property Management
• Ensure property is maintained in good condition, e.g. roof, drains, lighting, etc.
• Prepare property for winter and summer seasons
• Monitor suspicious activity around building and neighborhood
• Basic computer skills, be familiar with Google Office Documents (Forms, Sheets) ActiveBuilding (Tenant online portal) and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Customer Service & General Repairs
• Provide direction and ensure completion of tasks
• Complete resident service requests within 48 hours
• Make general repairs to units including, but not limited to:
o Electrical, carpentry, and painting duties
o Plumbing (replacing toilets, unclogging sinks, locating and fixing leaks, etc.)
o Replacing and or/repairing locks
o Cosmetic work such as touch up painting, trim work, simple cabinetry repairs, etc.
o Diagnosing and scheduling contractors for more complex issues
• Schedule and work alongside contractors to complete unit repairs as necessary.
• Perform annual safety inspections of apartment units
• Assist with resident lockouts and emergencies
• Be part of an on-call team that may require some emergency evening and weekend work.
Vacancy Turnovers
• Inspect apartment unit with Property Manager as soon as notice is given
• Clean vacant unit within three days of resident move-out
• Have apartment ready to lease within ten days of move-out
Common Area Maintenance
• Vacuum and clean interior hallways and entrances
• Clean laundry facilities at least three times per week
• Sweep and clean exterior courtyards and parking areas
• Keep landscaped areas free of debris and litter

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
