    Job Opening: Construction Laborer

    **Location:** Des Moines, Iowa

    **Employment Type:** Full-Time

     

    Description - A growing insulation contractor is hiring Construction Laborers for residential and commercial job sites in the Des Moines area. This is a hands-on role for individuals who enjoy physical work, working in a team environment, and being part of projects that improve energy efficiency and building performance.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Assist with the installation of insulation materials in walls, attics, and crawl spaces

    + Load and unload materials and equipment at job sites

    + Prep work areas and clean up after installations

    + Operate basic hand and power tools safely

    + Follow safety guidelines and project instructions from crew leads

    Qualifications:

    + Previous construction or general labor experience preferred

    + Comfortable working in tight spaces and varying weather conditions

    + Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physically demanding tasks

    + Valid Drivers License / Reliable transportation to job sites in the Des Moines area

    + Strong work ethic and willingness to learn

    Schedule & Compensation:

    + Monday–Friday schedule with potential for overtime

    + Starting pay: $18–$20/hour based on experience

    + Opportunities for advancement and training

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $20.00/hr.
