    Robotic Maintenance Technician

     

    3rd shift $28 - $30/HR

    Job Summary

    The Robotic Maintenance Technician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of robotic systems used in automotive manufacturing environments. This role ensures that robotic equipment operates efficiently, safely, and reliably to support production goals.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Install, configure, and maintain robotic systems and related automation equipment.

    + Perform routine and preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and extend equipment life.

    + Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and software issues in robotic systems.

    + Adjust and program robot parameters, including integration with PLCs and other control systems.

    + Replace or repair defective components such as sensors, servomotors, circuit boards, and controllers.

    + Maintain detailed service records and documentation of maintenance activities.

    + Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize robotic performance.

    + Ensure compliance with safety standards and maintain a clean, organized work environment.

    + Stay current with advancements in robotic technologies and recommend upgrades or improvements.

    Qualifications

    + High school diploma or GED required; technical certification or associate degree in robotics, mechatronics, or a related field preferred.

    + 2–5 years of experience in robotic maintenance, preferably in an automotive or industrial setting.

    + Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and operation manuals.

    + Familiarity with PLC programming and robotic software interfaces.

    + Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.

    + Ability to work flexible hours and respond to emergency breakdowns.

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $30.00/hr.
